Dialogue for the future

– the steel industry between transformation and responsibility

The German government has announced plans to hold a “Steel and Automotive Summit” together with representatives from industry, politics and trade unions. The goal: to find concrete ways to stabilise the steel sector and secure industrial competitiveness in light of rising energy costs, global market pressures and the ongoing transformation toward climate neutrality.

These discussions are urgently needed – because the challenges facing the steel and metal industry are greater than ever. Energy-intensive processes, volatile global supply chains and regulatory uncertainty are putting pressure on companies of all sizes.

At SteelCo.Tech, we welcome the initiative for open dialogue and long-term planning reliability. As a medium-sized group with strong roots in Germany and Hungary, we are directly affected by the same framework conditions as the large industrial players. But we also see transformation as an opportunity – for innovation, efficiency, and more sustainable production.

We continue to invest in:

  • Process optimisation and energy efficiency across all sites
  • Digitalisation to improve transparency and resource control
  • Employee training to strengthen expertise and adaptability

Political initiatives can set the framework – but real progress happens where expertise, responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit come together. That is exactly what we stand for at SteelCo.Tech:
Shaping the future of metal forming – responsibly, efficiently, and with respect for people and the environment.
