SteelCo.Tech also offers the short-term production of prototypes in order to reduce the risks and costs of product development and series production.
The production of precise stamped, formed and deep-drawn parts requires complex, multi-stage and high-quality tools. In order to reduce cost and time risks and avoid costly modifications, it is crucial to develop both the part itself and the tool precisely from the outset and to manufacture them under the most realistic conditions possible. Our toolmakers therefore manufacture cost-effective machined sample parts using simple auxiliary tools or rapid prototyping.
This allows installation situations and geometric aspects as well as material properties to be checked at an early stage as part of development projects. This approach also makes sense for series production, as production steps and environmental parameters can be considered in advance.
In addition to the shaping itself, subsequent work steps such as welding, riveting, labelling and other machining or processing steps are already implemented depending on the requirements in order to come as close as possible to the subsequent installation situation. In close cooperation with our customers, our employees identify the potential for optimising both the component and the forming process.
Within a few weeks, a prototype is produced and delivered that can become the basis for a pre-series.
