Tool try-out for a customer

In response to a component modification, a tool change became necessary.

The part was extended to increase its strength, which led to the need for adjustments in the existing tool design. To ensure the tool's functionality, our engineering team conducted a thorough "Red-Green Comparison" of the part drawings, analyzing the changes and their impact on the tool's performance.

After reviewing the modifications, we performed a feasibility study and simulated the new tool to verify its compatibility with the updated part design. With the adjustments confirmed, the tool was modified in-house, and we conducted extensive testing to ensure everything was in order.

The result? The tool modifications and part measurements were successfully validated, and the parts produced met all required specifications. All of this was achieved within a few weeks, thanks to our efficient process and in-house capabilities.

For our German site, we delivered both the measurement protocol and the updated tool to the customer, ensuring they were fully equipped for the next steps in their production process.

This successful try-out highlights our commitment to providing fast, reliable, and precise solutions in the field of toolmaking.
