Process optimization:

SteelCO.Tech has initiated a packaging changeover to an ongoing project for the Chinese market. The aim was to simplify the processes on site and reduce personnel costs.

Instead of the previous vertical sorting into plastic blisters - as carried out by a robot for European projects - disposable cardboard blisters are now used. These hold eight parts each, are made entirely of cardboard and enable significantly more efficient handling on site.

With this changeover, the company is also pursuing a sustainable approach: no plastic, recyclable materials and application-oriented process optimization.

This measure is an example of how packaging solutions are regularly reconsidered and adapted - whether for reasons of process simplification, sustainability or to increase work efficiency.
