Seamless Tool Relocation

in Three Phases

Relocating production tools is a complex task that, when done right, can significantly boost manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Our structured, three-phase approach ensures smooth transitions without production downtime.

Phase 1 – Flawless Relocation Starts with Planning
Every successful tool transfer begins with careful preparation. Key questions must be addressed in advance:

  • Is sufficient buffer stock available to prevent production outages?
  • Are contractual terms, cancellation periods, and production quotas clarified?
  • Are all technical documents, such as design data, tool specifications, and production requirements, complete?

Close coordination and early planning help prevent delays and ensure a smooth transition.

Phase 2 – Transparent Quotation from the Start
Before relocation begins, we develop a customized offer covering all key factors:

  • Tool transport and relocation
  • Technical inspection by our tooling team
  • Sampling and quality testing
  • Preparation for series production

A crucial point: All tools remain the property of the client—even after termination with the previous supplier. We support you in ensuring a smooth legal and technical handover.

Phase 3 – Tool Relocation & Start of Production
Once planning is complete, the actual relocation begins. The critical steps include:

  • Coordinating handover dates and logging tool data
  • Secure transport and documentation of all technical files
  • Tool inspection, wear control, and adjustments to our machines

After that, we proceed with initial sampling, final approvals, and full process documentation.

With this systematic approach, we ensure a punctual production start with optimal quality.
