Tool overhaul

Quality assurance through timely measures

In practice, tools are sometimes used beyond their intended service life. Tools are overhauled preventively in order to avoid potential problems and to ensure continued high product quality.

As soon as a tool reaches the defined end of its life - e.g. 5 million strokes or a certain age - it is routinely overhauled as a preventative measure in terms of quality assurance.

A central component of this process is the implementation of a PPAP (Production Part Approval Process). This sampling is used for official approval by the customer and ensures that overhauled tools continue to meet all requirements.

This forward-looking approach avoids unnecessary downtime and ensures long-term stability in series production.
