Three ways to the optimum tool for series production

Stamped parts, stamped-bent parts, formed parts and deep-drawn parts can only be procuded as precisely as the tool specifies.

Careful design and precise tool manufacture are therefore of great importance for the subsequent part quality. At the SteelCo.Tech companies, around 50 engineering employees therefore support our customers in putting high-quality and durable tools into operation. We offer our customers three different models:

- Design and sourcing only
- Design and sourcing including commissioning at the production site
- Design, sourcing, commissioning at SteelCo.Tech and series production

Individual tools, progressive tools, tools with inserts, transfer tools and combinations of tool shapes are all possible. We also support you with our many years of expertise in the field of production and production technology. For example, in clarifying the technical feasibility and optimization potential. Here we also consider whether the cost-effectiveness of part production can be increased, for example through multiple falling parts, press-fit contacts and other production steps directly via the tool.

Here are the process steps in detail:

1. sourcing only
Design of the tool including technical feasibility and simulation
Tooling sourcing from the world's most competitive countries
Delivery to the production site

2. sourcing up to commissioning
Design of the tool including technical feasibility and simulation
Tooling sourcing from the world's most competitive countries
Monitoring of the tool construction process
Try-out and complete release “ready to produce” at the production site
Maintenance and spare parts management throughout the entire service life of the tool

3. sourcing and series production
Tool design including technical feasibility and simulation
Tooling sourcing from the world's most competitive countries
Monitoring of the tool construction process
Try-out and complete release “ready to produce” at the production site
Pre-series / sample order and optimization of tool and production process
Creation of documentation and implementation of testing processes
Maintenance and spare parts management throughout the entire service life of the tool
Refurbishment and soft refurbishment of the tool
